About

Kassy Dillon is a political commentator, media strategist, host of the Kassy Dillon Show, and the founder and president of Lone Conservative.

While attending Mount Holyoke College, she founded LoneConservative.com, an online publication created to connect conservative college students across the country and train them for careers in media. Lone Conservative’s staff and writers are students and recent graduates active in politics on campus and beyond. Lone Conservative has worked with 400+ writers throughout the past three years, with over 150 active contributors.

Her conservative views stemmed from growing up in a low-income family with a single mother. Kassy had to support herself before she turned 18. She became deeply pro-life from personal experiences in her family and tells her story to bring other people from similar backgrounds to the conservative movement.

A native of Western Massachusetts, Kassy moved to Los Angeles, California, in 2018 to work for The Daily Wire, where she published hundreds of articles. She also earned millions of views on short videos she produced about topics such as the San Diego border barrier and the Women’s March.

Kassy’s work has appeared in the _Wall Street Journa_l, The Hill, The Daily Wire, the Washington Examiner, Providence Magazine, Campus Reform, amongst other publications. Kassy has also appeared on Fox News to discuss issues surrounding free speech and cultural issues on college campuses. She frequently makes media appearances and writes on topics involving the Middle East and free speech and is regularly invited to speak at conservative events and on college campuses.  Kassy has spoken at numerous events, including CPAC 2019, where she received the Ronald Reagan Award and at CPAC Brazil 2019.

On her podcast, The Kassy Dillon Show, Kassy explores what it means to be politically conservative through interviewing ordinary people with unique stories. She has explored topics such as conservatives in comedy and veterans volunteering to fight with the Kurds against ISIS.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Modern Media Strategies, Kassy creates personalized plans and animated content to reach her clients’ audience and spread their message through the use of modern media and efficient marketing. Kassy has consulted private companies, nonprofit organizations, and government officials on how to optimize their messaging and social media presence. She also regularly trains young people on how to pitch themselves to radio and television and connects them with the proper training channels for professional development.

Kassy also assists with social media for Live Action, one of the leading national pro-life and human rights organizations in America.

Currently, Kassy is a graduate student at Pepperdine University, where she is studying public policy. Kassy chose her program because it values intellectual diversity and has faculty from both sides of the political spectrum.

Oh, and Kassy’s Instagram feed is almost wholly composed of her beagle, Barbara.

Community Guidelines:

It’s been almost four years since I began my journey in the political realm of social media. Throughout the way, I made an effort to try to talk with anyone who took the time to give me feedback, encouragement, or simply words of advice. I hope this community will bring me closer to interacting with you all.

As I venture into producing more exciting political content, I will be looking to this community for feedback on ongoing projects. For example, comments on articles I am writing, short documentaries, and feedback on my podcast.

This community page should be a place for people to come together and feel confident that I will read every message. All meaningful content, and cute photos of my dog Barbara, will be regularly uploaded.

CAUTION: This is a hot take safe space. Do not be alarmed if you hear pineapple pizza praised and the Princess Bride trashed.

Thank you for your support, and welcome.

Guidelines:

  1. Post a variety of content.
  2. Debate, don’t argue.
  3. Be reasonable.
  4. Don’t be an annoying troll.
  5. Make friends, not enemies.
